BULLETIN NO. 2   2011/2012

• All will agree that the Annual Dinner and presentation of awards for the season 2011 was a great success (everybody tells me I had a great time!).  Many thanks to Liam and Roberta and his small band of little helpers for such an enjoyable evening. Things just don’t happen, they are made to happen.

• The Committee would remind all recipients of trophies that the custody of the trophies is the responsibility of the recipient.  It is suggested that the trophies are covered by insurance while in your custody.

• The Committee are aware the many competition members have been enquiring about the race programme for 2012.  This is virtually completed and will be put up on the web-site in the near future.

• Plans are progressing positively for the 2012 Phoenix Park Races which are scheduled for 18^th/19^th August.  Whilst further details will be communicated to competitors when they come to the Committee’s attention, the Committee would ask all competitor members to mark off the dates in their calendar for 2012, to ensure that we get a big grid.  It promises to be a very exciting event for 2012.

• In early January, it is proposed to email and post to all members (currently active and also recently inactive), a pack which will include HRCA membership renewal forms for 2012, VIF forms, race programme 2012 and details of the new numbering system which is mandatory for racing in 2012 under Motorsport Ireland regulations.

• Renewal of competition licences for 2012 is the responsibility of each competitor.  The HRCA Committee cannot be involved in the process.  Please have the licence renewal form signed by your affiliated club and submit it to the Licence Department, Motorsport Ireland.
