The dates are now set for what I hope will be a great year, despite the current financial situation in Ireland.
There is one change to our Calendar we listed on the www.hrca.ie so please keep an eye on the website as it is the quickest and easiest way of your committee keeping you informed and up to date.
All drivers within the class or anyone wishing to join our grid at one off events can contact me if they have any questions or just need clarification on dates or other issues like costs etc.
Naturally i will do my best to point any driver in the right direction and provide any assistance/encouragement with regard to getting cars on our grid in 2011.
Re test dates: - two possible test dates are currently available for competitors.
First date 12th march in mondello park on the national track at a cost of 100.00 for half day and 200.00 for the full day
Second date 27th March as above but provisional at present.
Can all drivers interested in competing in 2011 please look at our calendar on the website and let me know the following.
- Do you intend competing in 2011
- Is your car ready for 2011
- Which races or hillclimbs you intend competing at and if possible, list the dates
- If there are any dates you cannot attend due to holidays etc please, let me know A.S.A.P
The updated calendar for 2011 is now online and I cannot stress enough how important it is to promote our class and make sure we survive the recession, whilst competing at great race meetings ensuring plenty of close racing with great craic etc.
As class coordinator I need drivers within our class to tell me what they want and also what potential problems with dates etc we/they might have.
So please inform me as soon as possible if you can or cannot race in 2011 and list what dates you can attend as this will give me a more realistic picture of expected grid size etc and allow time to deal with issues arising from same.
The only thing left to say is I look forward to seeing you all soon and good luck with the championship ahead.
