RILEY IN FRANCE
Ken McAvoy has just returned from a 1000km jaunt in France in his 1934 Riley 12/4 Sprite. This may not seem like a major undertaking but it was done with his wife Ann in the cockpit. This again may not seem a lot but it is a fraction bigger than a single seater and has a tendency to spray oil from the torque tube which is exposed through the cockpit.
Rumour has it that they are still talking, and he might be allowed to do it again.
